Theoretical modeling of translation process in bateria, including looking at the tRNA celluar concentration coorelation to protein production efficiency and codon bias. Worked with Prof. Terry Hwa and postdocs Stefan Klumpp and Matthew Scott.

DISSERTATION RESEARCH

Jiajia's dissertation research involved a study of the totally asymmetric simple exclusion process and its application to protein synthesis. Both analytical methods and Monte Carlo simulations were used.
